Moodle 2.3 Upgrade
Welcome to the new Moodle server!  We have upgraded from Moodle 1.9 to 2.3, and this upgrade provides many new and improved features that will make it easier and more efficient to create course sites. Below are some examples of these improvements:

• a new theme for the Moodle pages
• drag-and-drop file uploads (requires the Chrome browser on the Mac and Chrome/Firefox on PC)
• easy duplication of labels, text pages, and activities
• a much improved text editor (especially when pasting text from Word to Moodle)
• streamlined quiz creation
• blocks that can be minimized or docked (moved to the side of the page)
• a combined menu for adding resources (labels, text pages, etc.) and activities (forums, quizzes, etc.) with descriptions of each one

Links to the Moodle Servers:
From now on, we will be setting up a new Moodle server for each academic year, so the new Moodle 2.3 server will only include sites from the 2012-13 academic year.  The old Moodle server will stay in place with all of the old course sites intact for at least two years, but after Tuesday, September 4, 2012, you won't be able to add any new material to this server.
